Jami A. Bowen, 48, of Evansville, IN, born to James and Vicky Moers on February 11, 1965, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.
Jami was a homemaker who loved watching NASCAR and Cowboys football, decorating, gardening, driving her yellow Hummer, and visiting the beach. She also made it a priority to care for others and give to anyone who needed her. She attended Washington grade school, North High School, and ITT Technical College.
Surviving are her husband of 20 years, Jerry Bowen, Jr.; her father, James A. Moers; sister, Julie Yates; daughters, Tara McBride and Keri Bowen; stepson Landen Bowen and step-granddaughter Nikole Bowen.
Preceding her in death were her mother, Vicky Moers; her uncle, David Moers; and her brother Jim Moers, Jr.
Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pierre Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
