Jeanne (Page) Mahrenholz, age 100, of Evansville, passed away Friday, March 01, 2013 at the Deaconess Hospice Care Center.
Mrs. Mahrenholz was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. She enjoyed visiting with friends, card playing, gardening and cooking. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, she felt welcomed in her adopted home in Union Township.
Surviving Jeanne are her son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Charmaine McDowell of Evansville; one sister, Jean Panarello, of Brooklyn, NY; three grandchildren, Kay Burgess, Lynn Stroud (Jerry) and Tom McDowell and six great grandsons, Quinn and Vaughn Burgess, Blake and Braydon Stroud, Michael and John McDowell; a nephew, Duke Caruti and niece, Carol Rubino.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Salvatore Pellegrino, Ronald G. McDowell and Walter Mahrenholz.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Pierre Funeral Home, Rev. Paul Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 9:00 A.M. until service time on Tuesday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street.
The family wishes to thank all her friends who made it possible for Jeanne to live her life in her own home.
